Certification Details

A Clutch System serves as a mechanical link between the engine and transmission, allowing the driver to engage or disengage power transfer while changing gears. In HGVs, CMVs, and heavy-duty trucks, the clutch must handle high torque loads and continuous operation, making robust construction essential.

Our clutch systems are manufactured using OEM-grade materials like high-tensile steel, advanced ceramic or organic friction linings, and precision-machined components. They undergo rigorous testing for wear resistance, heat tolerance, and pressure endurance, ensuring optimal performance and longevity even under demanding road conditions.

Key components of the clutch system include:

  1. Clutch Disc (Friction Disc):
A rotating disc with friction linings on both sides. It transmits torque from the flywheel to the transmission when pressed by the pressure plate.
  2. Pressure Plate:
A spring-loaded component that presses the clutch disc against the flywheel, engaging the clutch. Manufactured from heavy-duty forged steel for high clamping force.
  3. Flywheel:
Bolted to the engine crankshaft, the flywheel provides the surface for the clutch disc to engage. It also stores rotational energy for smoother engine operation.
  4. Release Bearing (Throwout Bearing):
Allows controlled disengagement of the clutch by moving the pressure plate away from the clutch disc during gear shifts.
  5. Clutch Fork/Release Mechanism:
Transfers the driver’s pedal input to the release bearing.
  6. Clutch Master and Slave Cylinders (in hydraulic systems):
Hydraulic actuators that transmit pedal force to the clutch fork, providing smoother engagement/disengagement.

Together, these components ensure efficient power transfer, controlled gear changes, and protection of drivetrain components.

Our clutch systems are compatible with various heavy-duty commercial vehicles, offering superior reliability, durability, and low maintenance costs.
